RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. The school begins with Morning Assembly every day.  Attendance is compulsory. Those who come late or those who absent on the previous day must bring the late attendance or leave record signed by their parents or guardians to be shown to the Principal.  Before entering the class, they must show the teachers this record signed by the Principal / Teacher concerned.
  2. The school uniform is compulsory on all class days.  Pupils should come to school neat and tidy.  Their shoes should be well polished, nail should be well trimmed, hair should be well combed and they should have a decent haircut.
  3. The bell before the assembly or class is a call to be obeyed promptly.
  4. Going from one class to another should be done in silence.
  5. Pupils are responsible for the care of their personal belongings.  It is not advisable to bring jeweler or costly materials to the school.  The School Management takes no responsibility for their loss.
  6. Pupils are strictly forbidden to bring objectionable literature mobile, Camera etc. to the school.
  7. English, which is the medium of instruction in the school, should normally be used at all times in the school premises.
  8. Students should not lean against the wall and should keep the school campus clean and tidy.  Damage done to the school property must be paid for at the discretion of the Correspondent.
  9. No student should leave the school premises during the School Hours without the permission of the Principal.  Any person wishing to meet a student or a teacher in the premises should get the permission of the school authorities.
  10. Pupils should, at all times, show respect and reverence to the school authorities and the Staff.  They should be gentle and polite to their companions.  They should remember that every child of this institution is a gentleman in society.
  11. Irregular attendance, repeated late-coming, neglect of homework, stealing, disobedience and disrespect towards members of the staff justify dismissal.
  12. Pupils should always remember that the name of the School depends on each one’s good behavior and that they are the real AMBASSADORS of the School.  So their behavior inside and outside the school should be excellent and praiseworthy.
  13. Students are strictly forbidden to make any collection without the explicit permission of the Principal.
  14. Library books that have been lost / damaged have to be compensated for by the amount stipulated by the Principal.
  15. No pupil will receive private correspondence through the School.
  16. It is compulsory to be present on all important occasions such as Re-opening Day, Closing Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, School Day, Sports Day, Seminar Day, Teachers Day, and Children’s Day etc.
  17. No student will be allowed to attend the school with infectious diseases like chickenpox, mumps, measles etc.  The Principal will decide whether the student is fit to attend the school or not.  When a student is on sick leave for more than five days, a Medical Certificate must be produced.
  18. Parents should see that their children prepare their lessons properly at home and devote at least two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening to regular study.
  19. When there is change of address / phone number, the parents should inform the school office about the new address / new phone number.

Good Education is the joint effort of the School and the Home.
